1st Annual Golf Tournament a great success!

Ariss, Ontario – On July 13th, the Whalers hosted their First Annual Whalers Golf Classic at the Ariss Valley Golf Club.  The weather was nothing shy of perfect, and everyone in attendance enjoyed themselves.

The tournament featured 71 golfers, in a 4 man scramble format.  At the end of the day, there was a 2 way tie with scores of minus -8 from teams captained by Brock Aldersley and Brock Baier to take home the championship.  A delicious barbequed chicken and steak dinner followed the round, along with prizes that were generously donated by sponsors of the club.

The Fergus Whalers thank everyone who participated in making this a successful event, and can’t wait to return next year for the 2nd edition.
