Whalers celebrate graduating players; Boville, Anselmini, Broderick, Barry, Brown & Dasilva

Fergus, Ontario – Today, we recognize the outstanding group of Overage Players the Whalers had this season🚨

Each one of these gentlemen showed poise and leadership, and went above and beyond to mentor the younger Whalers. We thank you for all your contributions.

3️⃣0️⃣ BRADLEY BOVILLE (Mitchell, Ontario) – Bradley joined the team as its first player in a trade with the Mitchell Hawks. One of the happiest people you will meet, Bovie appeared in 81 total games for the Whaler over 2 full seasons, finishing with 38 wins and 2.84 GAA. He leaves the organization as the leader in all goaltending stats!

1️⃣7️⃣ TY ANSELMINI (Ariss, Ontario) –
Ty joined the team in its first season and made an immediate impact to the team and league. A leader in all scoring categories, Ty put up 164 points for the Whalers over 93 career PJHL games. We could count on Ty in any situation, and he always put the boys first.

2️⃣0️⃣ SAM BARRY (Guelph, Ontario)
Sam joined the Whalers at the start of this season, and brought with him an immense amount of leadership and skill. A versatile player who played forward and defence, Sam could be used in all facets of the game, and lead by example each night. He appeared in 56 games for the Whalers.

1️⃣6️⃣ ETHAN BRODERICK (Belwood, Ontario)
The home town kid joined the team at the start of the season as our Non-PJHL Drop Down, and was a stud on the back end before his season got short due to an injury in the leagues All Star Game. Ethan appeared in 24 games for the Whalers, putting up 18 points and collecting the Top Defenceman award & the Dan Reeves Memorial Award for Persverance.

1️⃣1️⃣ PATRICK BROWN (Holstein, Ontario)
Joining us this season at the trade deadline, Patrick came on board as we were ramping up for the playoffs and became a dynamic offensive threat, posting 24 points in 27 games. A quiet veteran who lead by example, Patrick & his family will be deeply missed next season!

7️⃣7️⃣ JAKE DASILVA (Cambridge, Ontario)
Jake joined the team near the end of the season and appeared in 19 games. He could be used in many different situations and was a great mentor for younger Whalers.

Once a Whaler, Always a Whaler.
